The amazing interior of the Reading Rocks Bus, a mobile library at the center of my Outreach initiative, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Clearwater East, and, on a broader scale, Rotary International. Inside are some of the many hundreds of people I served the night of my second event (expanded upon in the image below).

2022-Present

Nonprofit Founder & President

Originally designed to provide free basketball resources, including a gym and basketballs to work out within, the "Building Baskets" nonprofit I founded in 2022 began incorporating youth literacy outreach actions in marginalized communities in 2023. This was not sudden, but gradual, and stemmed from me breaking my back from overtraining in sports and the gym, leading me to do reflection on what drove me through so many challenging times: books and creative writing which fostered my imagination and led me to forfeit any limits I could have imposed upon myself. I wanted to inspire that same feeling of inner power in children who would experience their own difficulties in unique ways. The basketball gym and equipment are still being utilized to engage the children in their literary activities.

Founder of Youth Literacy Outreach Programs (Rotary)

Branching from my insatiable fire in my heart to empower children who may lack support at home, in school, and in their living situation through reading, creativity, and expressing themselves through art forms including drawing and writing, I started a Youth Literacy Outreach Initiative through my Rotary Club that dealt with low youth literacy rates in local marginalized communities. I created five new programs within my first month of working with the club and was given the dynamic title of Youth Literacy Coordinator. We take the Reading Rocks Bus, a library on wheels, to massive festivals in low-income areas and give out free books, helping families choose personalized books for their children. We get tens of thousands of books donated by the month and I am only getting started with this exponentially increasing life-changing impact. I also go to a low-income elementary school every week and work in small groups with the children to inspire them to read and begin to craft stories of their own.

2025-Present

Philosophy Club Founder (High School)

I founded my high school's Philosophy Club, where members discuss metaphysical, political, and social topics that reflect the past, present, and pressing matters of the future in a nuanced manner. I coordinate the club and select topics each week. I also selected a team from my club to participate in the National High School Ethics Bowl in the 25-26 school year.

2025-Present

Student Government: Junior Senator (High School)

I was elected by the student body to represent my junior class in the Student Government Association at SPC High School - North Pinellas. We plan dances, work with the administration to keep the best interests of the student body in mind and congregate to ensure campus life flows smoothly in our dynamic Collegiate High School.

2025-Present

Student Government: Historian (College)

I was appointed by the president of the SGA at St. Pete College - Tarpon to be the historian and work with the college to promote campus events through social media.

2025-Present

Student Leader (First High School)

Selected by Calvary Christian High School as a student leader in my freshman and sophomore years of high school. Student leaders gave tours to prospective families and represented the student body. I also helped plan the dances and spirit events at the school in my freshman year and led a group for classmates to get together and discuss their ways of overcoming challenges.

Under-Resourced Elementary School Volunteer Tutor

Starting at Eisenhower Elementary School in Clearwater, being a tutor, mentor, and big sibling to underprivileged students in third grade and having them look forward to seeing me every week changed my outlook on life and gave me meaning where I had none previously. The warmth in my heart started a fire that lit the ambitious hard work I continually do today.

A few of my classmates that I singlehandedly recruited within St. Pete Collegiate High School to spend time volunteering, and I (center), to make positive impact in our local community at our first Outreach event, Saturday, September 20, 2025.
